Gems Education has launched an initiative to promote emiratization in its network of schools and ancillary services in the UAE.

The program supports the UAE Government’s efforts to stimulate and promote Emiratization in skilled private sector jobs and the Emirati Human Resource Competitiveness Council’s “Nafis” programs and incentives to support Emiratization.

The Gems initiative was kicked off with a special Emiratization Open Day held on October 8 at the Gems Dubai American Academy.

The event, which was attended by highly qualified Emiratis, including GEMS alumni, parents and staff, as well as university students, provided an opportunity for interested job seekers to network with a diverse group of education managers, keynote speakers and recruiting managers. It was also an opportunity for attendees to learn more about Gems Education as an employer and the many ways it supports new graduates, retains top talent and fosters career advancement.

The Gems-wide initiative aims to engage the Emirati parent and staff communities and gain their support to promote the range of employment opportunities available at the organization and its 41 schools in the UAE.
